Turks and Caicos - The Bight
The Bight was originally called The Bight Settlements and is a residential area located between Turtle Cove and Grace Bay Beach Resorts. This region hosts Beaches Resort, Coral Gardens, Turks and Caicos Club. Also found in The Bight are West Bay Club, Gasnevoort (formally called Wymara) and Windsong Condo Resorts.
Near the Childrens Park is The National Environmental Centre which
opened its doors on April 21st,2007.
The exhibits and displays within the Centre focus on the natural habitats and
ecosystems of the Turks and Caicos Islands. There are also rotating exhibits,
highlighting ongoing research activities in the Islands.
Another treasure on the Bight is an underwater park right in front of Coral Gardens
Resort with some of the very best snorkeling in Turks and Caicos Islands.
The Bight in Turks and Caicos is becoming a very popular area because of its proximity to shops, IGA, Turtle Cove Marina and yet very close to the beach.
Beachfront lots well exceed $2,000,000 per acre, lots near the beach begin at
$150,000 and ridge lots with north shore views are at least $150,000 when
available. The beach in the Bight is exceptional and has attraced more and more
luxury homes along this strip of beach.
